Statement by the U.S. Embassy Amman, Jordan on the Announcement of Arrests in the Murder Case of USAID Official Laurence Foley

We thank the Jordanian government for its diligence and aggressiveness in working to bring Laurence Foley’s killers to justice.  We will continue to cooperate vigorously with the Jordanian authorities in pursuing this case. 

Larry Foley was a man dedicated to improving the lives of others.  He loved his work and his country.  We continue to honor him and the work he did here to help the Jordanian people.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Virginia, and his three children.
